I should say, when my mum first told me about the importance of choosing flats with “southeast direction” I even thought that it’s an old tradition. However I just cannot find this “old sayings” while searching on web, and I realized that perhaps it’s only my mum’s interpretion, or from the housing agency?
BTW, if I really want to have a harbour view in Hong Kong with “southeast direction”, perhaps I need to move to Hong Kong Island instead.

No kidding. I just need to look at my west-facing neighbors who have a lot more snow and ice problems to deal with.
Thanks for writing.
